12-8-2004 Caterpillar's China distributor, Westrac, adopts 'Next Office'

Caterpillar claims "In partnership with its worldwide dealer network, its products build the world's infrastructure". Caterpillar is one of the top Fortune 100 company and is the world's leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines and industrial gas turbines.

Westrac, after months of careful evaluation, has decided to fully adopt Next Office 8 different provinces in The PRC. The IT in-charge of Westrac stated that Next Office was chosen after stringent and careful testing of several similar office suites and Next Office comes with the best results in compatibility to MS Office and in its Chinese capabilities, not to mention their satisfaction to the responsive support provided by Next Office staffs. Moreover, Westrac finds the self-learning CD of Next Office to be useful for its staff training in using office-suite application.

Raymond Chan, the Business Development Director of Next Office, expressed "This indicates that Next Office has penetrated the North China territory, and that Next Office is not only used by SMEs but also by the China arms of international corporation Caterpillar."
