Next Software is pleased to announce that a successful international
investor, Techtrade Inc., has become a new shareholder of Well Develop
International Ltd which owns 100% the trade names of Next Software
and NextOffice.
The President of Techtrade is Mr Francis Fung. In United States,
Mr Fung had successfully invested in electronic OEM factories in
Boston, MA area with 1000% or 10 times return within 11 years. Mr
Fung's factory has been merged with other company in L.A. CA areas
to provide service and production to companies such as Cisco Systems.
Techtrade's other key communications infrastructure customers include
Nokia, Nortel, Lucent, Alcatel, Hutchison 3G, Extreme Networks and
Juniper Networks. Key customers in other industries include Agilent,
Lockheed Martin, Siemens and Teradyne. Estimate revenue is about
US$241 million for year of 2003 and the company market capitalization
is US$592.6 millions.
Mr Fung has also successfully invested in residential income properties
in Boston metro area with 100% to 200% return within 3 to 5 years.
In addition, he invested for the development of shopping malls in
US east coast cities and residential complex in Vancouver, Canada
area. Net worth for these real estate developments are from US$5
to US$20 millions.
Mr Fung understands that Well Develop International Ltd is a technology
company specializing in content creation tools (graphic and office
productivity), business process management and extensible markup
language (XML)-enabled enterprise solutions. The strong management
team of Well Develop Ltd provides a full range of software applications,
as well as quality technical support and professional services.
Mr Fung said, "Well Develop Ltd will provide us as a window
of opportunities to integrate with Hong Kong software company. Their
products have great market, our return-on-investment...to match
our successful investments in our past. We expect Next Software
will provide an excellent and cost effective office tool for the
Asia companies. As a result, we expect a high capital return to
of Well Develop Ltd with at least 200% within 3 years."
Mr Fung, when asked why he chose Next Software, replied, "Next
Software has been developing high quality Office-type application
products that the market wants. For instance, Next Software has
secured an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) win with Hewlett-Packard,
the world's leading IT company. Hewlett-Packard chose to bundle
with NextOffice (product by Next Software) on certain PC/notebooks.
Moreover, the Office application market in Greater China region
will continuously grow rapidly within ten years. Every PC or notebook
will need an office application to perform its day to day office
task. If Next Software keeps on providing open-standard and quality
office application products and excellent technical support, we
are confident that Next Software will capture the major market share
in Asia area."
