DVD Slideshow

Q: Why I cannot import the .mov files into the "DVD Slideshow Builder"?
  A:

The .mov file contains the format of MJPEG and MP4. MJPEG is a quite common video format for legacy cameras, this format is less demanding on the camera's CPU power but with less compression ratio; whereas for most of the modern cameras which can capture MP4 format and result in a higher compression ratio, but which is more demanding on the camera's CPU power.
As a result, in order to import the .mov files into the "DVD Slideshow Builder", you need a right MJPEG decodec. Here is a workaround suggestion:
Please click the following link to install the MP4Cam2AVI:
http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?group_id=123082&use_mirror=nchc&filename=MP4Cam2AVI_v2.71.zip&17449196
With this, you can edit your .mov files, convert them to .avi format and then import them into the "DVD Slideshow Builder".

Q: Why I cannot directly burn the disc using the burning function that the "DVD Slideshow" provided?
  A:

It is because the burning program and your system are not matched. We recommended to use your own burner, for example, Nero to burn. The method is as follows:

1. Click the "Burn" tab, choose DVD as the output format, and in the "Save to Computer" part, check the box of "Create DVD Files", and browse a location for it, says "C:\Test\", click the "Start" button on the bottom right to export the DVD format.

2. After the exporting of DVD format:

3. In the location that your have chosen previously, says "C:\Test", you can now find 2 folders.

4. Open a burner, for example, Nero, add the newly exported 2 folders into it, and then burn.
